Yes, and it's actually the ideal season. As in Finland, Sweden, or Norway, the contrast between the cold air and the hot water (38–40°C / 100–104°F) is at the heart of the Nordic experience. In winter, the Nordic bath can be used without restriction, provided the tub is protected from freezing between uses and a wood treated for humid conditions is chosen.

It's recommended not to exceed 15 to 20 minutes per session, especially above 38°C (100°F). Beyond that, the heat can cause low blood pressure or a feeling of discomfort. You can alternate between stepping out and immersion, as is the Scandinavian tradition.

Three species dominate the market: spruce, larch, and red cedar, as used in our Nordic baths. This red cedar is renowned for its durability and distinctive scent. For a year-round outdoor installation, red cedar is the best choice in the long term.

n most cases, no. A Nordic bath placed on the ground without fixed anchoring is considered mobile equipment and requires no authorization. However, if your property is in a protected zone (ABF, restrictive local urban plan) or if you're planning to build a shelter around the bath, a prior declaration of works may be required.
